DR. DEBORAH SOLOMON
Dr. Deborah Solomon received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry. She then practiced as an active duty general dentist in the United States Air Force. She practiced all aspects of general dentistry: restorative (fillings), fixed and removable prosthodontics (crown and bridge), pediatrics, oral surgery, periodontics (soft tissue/gums), endodontics (root canals), cosmetic and implant therapy. She was awarded the Commendation medal among other military awards. She went back to school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an orthodontist and making people even more beautiful. She completed her orthodontic specialty training at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada, where she was awarded the Resident Research Excellence Award. She is Board Certified with the ABO (American Board of Orthodontics) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She has been practicing orthodontics in Las Vegas and in Los Angeles for years now, and considers herself a proud Angelino. Her mission is to provide the finest orthodontic treatment to her patients and build lifelong relationships.
ACADEMICS
Dr. Solomon has long been dedicated to her profession and investigated the Psychosocial Impact of Anterior Dental Aesthetics on Periodontal Health, Dental Caries and Oral Hygiene Practices in Young Adults. Her research was published in the premier peer-reviewed journal of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Solomon has been presented America’s Best Dentist award in 2020. She is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Obtaining a beautiful smile for her patients is her passion. Dr. Solomon regularly attends continuing education in the most advanced areas in orthodontics to always be in the forefront of her field.

Beyond Smile Health Orthodontics, Dr. Solomon has been married to her husband Mordy for eight years now, and is a doting mother to their son Judah and rescue dog, Ziggy. She loves to share stories of her latest activities, travel experiences and #smilehealth_orthodontics fun. Dr. Solomon loves a good chat and can’t wait to meet you!
Dr. Solomon and her husband are committed to giving back to the community and support many local, national and international organizations such as Hatzolah of Los Angeles Emergency Medical Services, Bonei Olam Financial Assistance for Fertility Treatment, Kupat Ha’ir and Od Yosef Chai charities, Chai Lifeline illness organization, Tomchei LA, Arachim and Chazaq outreach, Amit Education Network, among others.
